Gene Gallery is delighted to announce the solo exhibition “Dancing on the Line” by artist Han Xinyu, curated by Chen Junyao from December 23, 2023 to February 4, 2024.

As the artist’s first solo exhibition, this exhibition will present Han Xinyu’s precise portrayal and control of emotions in her artistic creations. Those works are filled with a carnival-like atmosphere, and show extremes of emotion and action, which also reflect a deep reflection on control and rules. Through her work, the artist raises questions about whether the revelry retains its original challenge when it is normalized. and explores the interdependent and intertwined relationship between control and the carnival. In these images, She not only presents the chaos and disorder on the surface but also digs deeper into the rules and mechanisms of the complex structure of reality.
