Gene Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in the fifth edition of Basel Social Club in 2026. From June 14 to 20, the gallery will present new sculptural works by artists Jeronim Horvat and Taro Maruyama.

Continuing its attention to sites marked by specific social functions and spatial memory, this year’s Basel Social Club (BSC) takes The Office as its theme and will unfold inside a long-vacant office building near Basel SBB. As one of the most distinctive independent art initiatives during Basel Art Week, BSC has consistently worked outside the conventional framework of the art fair, exploring how art can be seen, encountered, and folded into everyday life while constructing a looser, more social, and more experimental alternative site.
